After posting a blog about the most expensive Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards, this time it is a blog about the most expensive Magic! The Gathering cards ever! Read on to find out how much your old Magic! cards can be worth.
1.Black Lotus
The most expensive Magic! card currently on the market is the "Black Lotus". This is said to be one of the strongest cards in the game. This card was released in the alpha and beta sets in 1993 and 1994. The image was designed by Christopher Rush and the card is currently valued at €27,000. This is quite expensive for a card that cannot be used in official tournaments. Only 1,100 Black Lotus cards were printed.

2. Time Walk
After the Black Lotus, Time Walk has the highest value in the Magic! The Gatherin card game. This card is worth roughly €3,500! Just like the Black Lotus, this card may not be used in official tournaments. You can use this card 2 turns in a row, which gives the player of the card an unfair advantage over the opponent. The design was done by Amy Weber and the card is worth more than its weight in gold.

3. Mox Sapphire
The next card is good for 3rd place on this list. This card was released in 2005 in the Mox Set. This is the most expensive card of the entire set with a value of no less than €1,500. This card is so expensive because it is hardly available anywhere.

4. Ancestral Recall
One of the simpler cards in Magic! series is the "Ancestral Recall" card. Just like the Black Lotus, Time Walk and Mox Sapphire, the Ancestral Recall is also part of the "Power Nine". The Power Nine cards were released in the Alpha and Beta sets of the Magic! series and are considered the strongest cards in the game. The intention was to make the Ancestral Recall a "common", but in the end a "rare" one was decided upon. The card has an average value of around €1,300.

5. Tropical Island
The last card in this list, which is not part of the "Power Nine" like the previous 4 cards, is Tropical Island. This is a rare card with a value of no less than €1,000. This card can be used in multiple ways in the game, which makes it so unique.
