In recent weeks we have been busy redesigning our shipping options. We have done this with the aim of offering customers the best possible parcel delivery service. This is only possible with the help of the Dutch and Belgian courier services.
We have decided to stop offering shipping options with DHL. Unfortunately, DHL has not been able to provide the quality and service that we expect from them to customers. From now on it is no longer possible to have your orders delivered with DHL in the Netherlands and Belgium. This also applies to orders placed with us on Bol.com.
It is important to us to offer customers different shipping options. This means making the choice to deliver shipments at home or to a service point via various courier services. We are therefore very happy to announce that we now also offer DPD!
Why DPD? DPD has a number of advantages that make it possible to provide a better service to our customers:
- 24 hour delivery in both Belgium and the Netherlands
- Accurate information about time of delivery
- Possibility to change delivery option on the day of delivery (different address, at the neighbors, in a safe place, at a service point, etc.)
- All DPD shipments in Belgium and the Netherlands are insured up to €520.00 as standard
- All DPD shipments in Belgium and the Netherlands require a signature upon receipt
- Finally, cheaper prices for service point delivery compared to other Belgian/Dutch courier services.
If you want to have your order delivered to a service point, this is only possible at a DPD service point, both in Belgium and the Netherlands. We do this to offer customers the cheapest price. This now also applies to orders over €50.00 (which still receive free shipping from us).
The above naturally means that there will be some changes in shipping options and shipping rates.
