The first Pokémon Sword & Shield set was released in early 2020. Silver Tempest was the 12th and therefore last Sword & Shield set that was released at the end of 2022. We were introduced to the popular alternate art cards. But what are the most expensive Sword & Shield cards of all 12 sets? Read on to find out!
The value of the cards was determined in January 2023. The prices will of course change over time.
1. Umbreon VMAX - Evolving Skies #215
The most expensive card from the Sword & Shield series comes from Evolving Skies. There we find the alternate art Umbreon VMAX that is worth no less than €500.
2. Rayquaza VMAX - Evolving Skies #218
The second most expensive card also comes from Evolving Skies. The alternate art Rayquaza VMAX has a value of €300.
3. Giratina V - Lost Origin #186
For the third most expensive card from the Sword & Shield series we have to go to Lost Origin. The alternate art Giratina V is worth no less than €275.
4. Lugia V - Silver Tempest #186
In fourth place we find the alternate art Lugia V, which has a value of €250. This card comes from the 12th and final Sword & Shield set Silver Tempest.
