What are the most expensive Pikachu Pokémon cards?

1. Pikachu - Sample Set (016/093)

The most expensive Pikachu card available comes from the Sample Set. The Sample Set consists of a small collection of promo cards that have been specially marketed to demonstrate the function of the e-Reader. The e-Reader was a tool for the Game Boy Advance to scan special cards to unlock certain parts of the Pokémon game. There was also the Pikachu card from the Sample Set. There were 10 of these made, and it was not intended to end up on the market. Still, a few of these cards are in the hands of collectors and dealers. If you want to add this card to your collection, you will quickly have to pay €5,000.00 for it.

2. Pikachu - Art Academy 2015

The Pokémon Art Academy game for the Nintendo 3DS was released in 2014. Pokémon also created an Art Academy competition for this game. Participants had to make a Pikachu drawing. The most original and beautiful drawing was released as a Pokémon card. A total of 100 of these cards were produced. The price tag on this card is no less than €1,500.00.

3. Warm Pikachu - XY Promo

The third in the list of most expensive Pikachu cards is "Warm Pikachu". Four different variants of the Warm Pikachu cards have been released. These cards were part of the Pokémon XY promotional campaign in December 2014. Warm Pikachu was only available in the Uniqlo clothing store in Japan. When purchasing a Pokémon Heat Tech T-Shirt in the store, children received one of the Warm Pikachu cards. The Uniqlo logo can be found at the bottom left of the Warm Pikachu Pokémon cards. It is estimated that the value of a card is currently approximately €1,000.00.
